Neftaly Community Gardening Projects

Planting Seeds of Change. Growing Stronger Together.

At Neftaly, we believe that gardens grow more than just food — they grow health, knowledge, unity, and resilience. Our Community Gardening Projects empower neighborhoods to transform empty or underused spaces into vibrant, productive gardens that feed families, build community pride, and promote environmental sustainability.

Our Mission

To create inclusive, sustainable garden spaces where communities can grow fresh food, learn together, and build stronger social connections.

What We Do

???? Garden Creation & Support

We help local groups start and sustain community gardens by providing tools, soil, seeds, infrastructure, and expert guidance.

????????‍???? Gardening Skills Training

Neftaly offers hands-on workshops in organic gardening, composting, permaculture, and seasonal planting to equip individuals and families with lifelong skills.

???????? Youth Engagement

Through school gardens and youth gardening clubs, we teach young people about food systems, healthy eating, and environmental stewardship.

???? Community Collaboration

Our gardens are designed and run by the community, for the community. We host regular planning meetings, volunteer days, and harvest festivals that bring people together.

???? Food Access & Nutrition

By growing fruits, vegetables, and herbs, our projects help reduce food insecurity and improve access to fresh, healthy produce in underserved urban and peri-urban areas.

  • Improves mental and physical health through outdoor activity and fresh food
