Purpose of Child and Youth Care Work

- Intervene in cases of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or child labor.
4. Family and Community Involvement
- Work with families to strengthen parenting skills and family bonds.
- Facilitate reintegration of children into safe family and community environments when possible.
5. Education and Developmental Support
- Assist with learning, homework support, and access to educational opportunities.
- Create recreational, cultural, and developmental programs for youth.
6. Crisis Intervention and Counseling
