Neftaly’s Commitment to Ending TB in the Region by 2030
At Neftaly, we are committed to the global goal of ending tuberculosis (TB) by 2030. TB remains one of the world’s deadliest infectious diseases, yet it is preventable and curable. Our work is focused on ensuring that communities in our region are empowered, informed, and equipped to stop the spread of TB and eliminate it once and for all.
Our Mission:
To actively support the reduction and eventual elimination of TB through integrated community engagement, education, screening, treatment support, and policy advocacy.
How Neftaly Contributes:
- Community Education & Awareness: We educate communities about TB transmission, symptoms, and treatment options to reduce stigma and encourage early diagnosis and treatment.
- Screening & Early Detection Support: Neftaly partners with local health facilities to support mobile TB screening initiatives, especially in high-risk and underserved areas.
- Treatment Adherence Programs: We work alongside healthcare providers to support TB patients through treatment adherence initiatives, peer support groups, and access to essential medications.
- Capacity Building: Neftaly trains community health workers and youth leaders to become TB champions—equipped to spread accurate information and link people to care.
- Advocacy & Policy Engagement: We engage with regional stakeholders and policymakers to strengthen TB control strategies, increase funding, and ensure TB is prioritized in health agendas.
Our Goal:
To create TB-free communities where every person has access to early detection, effective treatment, and long-term prevention, contributing directly to the global End TB Strategy by 2030.
