Neftaly’s Commitment to Reducing Tuberculosis Morbidity and Mortality

Neftaly is dedicated to contributing towards a significant reduction in the morbidity and mortality caused by tuberculosis (TB), fully aligned with the objectives of the Stop TB Partnership and the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

By focusing on early detection, effective treatment, community engagement, and health system strengthening, Neftaly supports national and global efforts to control and ultimately eliminate TB as a public health threat.

Our initiatives aim to:

• Increase access to timely TB diagnosis and quality treatment
• Enhance community awareness to reduce stigma and promote health-seeking behaviors
• Support treatment adherence to prevent drug resistance and improve patient outcomes
• Build capacity within healthcare systems for sustainable TB control
• Advocate for strong political commitment and resource mobilization in line with global TB targets

Through these efforts, Neftaly contributes to advancing the global MDG target to halt and reverse the TB epidemic and supports the Stop TB Partnership’s vision of a world free of TB.
